Before you book:  Bike X Cape is 96km away from the closest town.  50km of this road is gravel.  There is no cell phone reception en route, but WiFi is available at Bike XCape. 

We have solar power available to run our fridges, freezers and water pumps.  There is no Electricity in rooms or tents. There is communal charging facilities available.  In order to appreciate the stars we have limited lighting around the camp and cottages so it is advisable to also bring a handheld torch or headlamp for night times.  We use borehole water for bathroom facilities and provide fresh drinking water at night.   Braaipacks at additional cost available with prior arrangement.  You can obtain travel tips as well as regional information on the Tankwa Karoo and Cederberg in the quick links section at the bottom of the page.
